If you did not participate in the 2016 race and would like to be considered for this category, please email race director (Susan Kramer) – racedirector@fra-alaska.net to request a spot. Men who have run a sub 37 minute 10K and Women who have run a sub 42 minute 10K will have top priority.

Those who are eligible will be given bib numbers 1-100, clearly marked with a yellow strip. Race bibs and goodie bags will be given out on race day from 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm right by the starting line area.

Costume Contest

In keeping with the Midnight Sun Run tradition, individuals, teams and kids under 12 made up 26 entrants in the 2016 costume contest. Categories included Race for the White House, The Eighties and the ever popular Anything Goes! It was “Make America ‘Grate’ again,” complete with cheese graters and “E.T. the Extra-Terrestial” up against Beer Pong, Cleopatra, Spider ‘n Fly, Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox, Super Hero Family and so many more…!
